The managerial framework of leaders in the north of France on organizational practices and their impacts on the city

"The challenge is to understand the imprint that the leaders of the North of France leave both on organizational practices and on the city that surrounds them. The analysis focuses as much on the modes of management and organization of work as on the economic, social, political and religious dynamics influenced by their action. A steering committee, composed of a representative of an interest group and a stakeholder from the territory, supports the work by providing support, guidance and relay with their communities. Several meetings punctuate the progress: initial presentation, preparation of the survey, exchanges around progress reports and final feedback.
The approach is based on direct communication with the leaders to obtain their informed consent, as well as a precise delimitation of the industrial fabric of the North of France to identify the actors concerned. A dozen companies from various sectors will be visited to observe in situ the real work of the leaders and the organizational practices that are deployed there. The whole process is carried out within a rigorous ethical framework, formalized by a memorandum of understanding between Entreprises and Cités, ICAM and HEC Montréal, and by obtaining the certificate of compliance with research ethics rules."
