ACCU-ACcelerate energy CommUnities via local solar energy storage end heat

The European Interreg North-West Europe ACCU (ACcelerate energy CommUnities via local solar energy storage and heat) project aims to accelerate the ecological transition in neighborhoods in North-West Europe by promoting the creation of local communities powered by renewable energy and solar storage. Within this framework, a doctoral project has been proposed to optimize the management of electricity and heat within these communities. It addresses the challenges related to the deployment of these local structures, which bring together citizens, businesses, and local authorities around shared production, storage, and consumption infrastructures. The objective is to develop optimization tools to improve both sizing and management, relying on local data, load flexibility, and techno-economic criteria.
