English language Teaching Assistant

CDI - temps plein

 / Toulouse

   Notre entreprise :

A teaching organisation open to the ever-changing world, respecting people in all their
diversity: this is what sets Icam apart. Our 11 campuses in France and around the world are
genuine communities where people live together, following different training courses from
vocational qualifications to PhDs. We have many roles: educating our generalist engineers and
students of course, but also research and R&D projects as a direct response to challenges in the
business world.
For the launch of a new course characterised by innovating teaching methods (particularly
PBL) and with a strong international focus, we are looking for an English language Teaching
Assistant for our customer Icam’s Toulouse site.

   Missions

With a Masters degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university, you have a passion for
sharing your expertise acquired in higher education or industry.
You will be teaching French and international students in English. Working in a team of
assistant teachers and researchers, you will be a creative force helping to move teaching
methods forwards. You will propose, plan and write lessons and teaching activities. You will
participate in writing and standardising course content and assessments.
In particular, you will be in charge of the PBL classes. Problem-based learning is an innovative
method based on solving complex problems, providing students with support in skill
development. You will be involved in the first cycle of the engineering course.
Your profile.

   Vous :

You have a general scientific degree (engineering school, Masters in science) and your
versatility and experience mean you can teach a broad spectrum of subjects.
Ideally a native speaker, you are perfectly fluent in English.
Independent and methodical, you have excellent people skills for working in a team and within
the network of teaching teams at Icam sites in France and around the world. You are curious
and creative with high standards and a precise approach. Your enthusiasm and keen appetite
for human relations will be a clear advantage in this role.
Full time permanent position.
