In 2102, Icam will open its 9th Engineering school in Sénart, in the booming town centre of Le Carré : a veritable square, 1.4km long on each side, surrounded by 2,400 silver lime trees, crossed by three canals and since July 2011, served by a new means of transport - the T Zen.

Sénart is 35km south-east of Paris, easily accessible by the RER D train or by the A4, A5 and A6 motorways thanks to its position on the Francilienne (the Parisian outer ring-road).

This project is part of the dynamic development of Sénart and part of a strategic partnership with local participants :

• Local authority bodies will bring financial support for building construction : SAN de Sénart, Conseil Général de Seine et Marne and Conseil Régional d’Ile de France.
• Lycée Saint Léon of Corbeil- Essonnes is going to set up an annexe on the campus and ensure the management of our Preparatory Classes.
• UPEC, Université de Paris Est Créteil, already present at Sénart, will welcome Icam during the start-up phase in the context of a wider partnership : training development, promotion of engineering sciences, research, leading to the introduction of an Engineering Science Department.

At Sénart, Icam will develop more specific skills in the fields of :

• Social and Industrial Ecology,
• Logistics and Supply Chains,
• Sustainable building and towns,
• Health and Biotechnology Engineering.
